1 Scope
This standard specifies the standard for safety evaluation of equipments (pipes, equipments and mechanical parts of the water supply system) and protective materials in drinking water system.
This standard is applicable to materials and products directly touching the drinking water and drinking water treatment reagent, including the pipes, equipments and mechanical parts (such as valves, chlorine and water treatment reagent adding-equipments) as well as the protective materials (such as paint and linings) used for the water supply system of the drinking water.

3 Sanitary Requirements
3.1 Water quality shall not be polluted by all the equipments and protective materials touched the drinking water and the water quality of the pipe network tips must meet the requirements of GB 5749.
3.2 Immersion tests must be made respectively for the equipments and protective materials in the drinking water system according to those specified in Appendix A and Appendix B.
3.3 Soaking water shall be detected according to the methods specified in Appendix A and Appendix B. And the detection results must be in accordance with those specified in Table 1 and Table 2.
