1. Scope This standard specifies the material, product classification, requirements, test method, inspection rule, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of steel reinforced polyethylene plastic pipe (hereinafter referred to as composite pipe or SRPE) molded by extruding polyethylene (medium density or high density) thermoplastic resin and the mesh reinforcement frame which is molded by continuous wrapping and welding. This standard is applicable to the indoor/outdoor, overhead and buried composite pipes for pressure conveyance of water and drinking water. For the medium conveyed by composite pipe, its temperature for long-term usage and short-term usage of composite pipe shall not exceed 70℃ and 80℃ respectively. 2. Normative References The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. At time of publication, the editions indicated were valid.
