1 Scope
This standard specifies the raw material, technical requirements, application scope, use methods, inspection methods, marking and packing, transport and storage, labels and instructions as well as precautions of disinfectants containing iodine (iodine tincture and iodophor).
This standard is applicable to disinfectants for disinfection of the skin, mucous membrane and hands, such as iodine tincture containing 18 g/L ~22 g/L available iodine and iodophor containing 2 g/L~10 g/L available iodine.
The iodophor disinfectants specified in this standard refer to the complex iodine disinfectants made by such constituents, iodine, polyvinylpyrrolidones (PVP) and polyalcohol ethers nonionic wetting agent, kalium iodide, etc.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the raw material, technical requirements, application scope, use methods, inspection methods, marking and packing, transport and storage, labels and instructions as well as precautions of disinfectants containing iodine (iodine tincture and iodophor).
