This document is applicable to electrical and electronic products produced, sold and imported within the territory of the People's Republic of China. 2 Normative references The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. In case of any overlap in the classification, the products shall be classified in the order of EEP-A/EEP-B/EEP-C. Any products that can be included in EEP-A shall not be included in EEP-B or EEP-C. Table 2 Classification of test units Category of test units Definition of test unit categories EEP-A All kinds of homogeneous materials constituting electrical and electronic products EEP-B Colorless or colored anti-corrosion coatings on components of electrical and electronic products EEP-C Small components or materials in electrical and electronic products that cannot be further disassembled under existing conditions a a For example, units with a volume less than or equal to 4 mm³. 5.3.2 Conformity judgment rules When the test results of the content of hazardous substances in all test units disassembled from an electrical and electronic product according to the requirements of 5.3.1 meet the requirements of Table 3, the product is judged to meet the requirements of 5.1; if the test results of the content of hazardous substances in any one of the test units fail to meet the requirements of Table 3, the product is judged not to meet the requirements of 5.1.
