This document specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of electric vehicle coolant.
This document is applicable to the production, inspection, and use of the coolant for electric vehicles, which is formulated with ethylene glycol as the raw material for the antifreeze agent and is used in the thermal management systems for traction battery of pure electric vehicles, fuel cell electric vehicles, and hybrid electric vehicles with independent thermal management loops and using Class B voltage circuits.

electric vehicle coolant
functional liquid compounded with antifreeze, corrosion inhibitor and other raw materials and used in the thermal management system for electric vehicle traction battery and has the functions of cooling, anti-corrosion, anti-freeze and heat preservation
Note: The coolant taken directly from the product's original packaging is usually referred to as "stock solution", which can be either coolant concentrate or coolant predilute.
3.3
electric vehicle coolant concentrate
coolant used in the thermal management system of the traction battery of electric vehicles after dilution, with a water content not exceeding 5%
3.4
electric vehicle coolant predilute
coolant that is directly used in the thermal management system of the traction battery of electric vehicles and has a specific freezing point value
4 Product classification
The classification, code and model of electric vehicle coolant (hereinafter referred to as "the coolant") shall be as specified in Table 1.
