1 General Provisions
1.0.1 This code is formulated in order to achieve advanced technology, economy and rationality, safety and usability and quality guarantee for the project design and construction of CATV system (hereinafter referred to as "the system").
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design, construction and acceptance for the newly-built, extended and rebuilt projects of CATV system with the following signal transmission forms:
1.0.2.1 RF coaxial cable.
1.0.2.2 RF coaxial cable and optical cable combination.
1.0.2.3 RF coaxial cable and microwave combination.
1.0.3 The project design of the system shall meet the requirements for the construction planning of local towns and the development planning of broadcast television undertaking and cable television network.
1.0.4 In addition to this code, the project design and construction of the system shall also meet the provisions stated in the national current relevant standards.

1 General Provisions
