1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to preventing the harm of industrial noise, protecting health of employee, guaranteeing safety in production and normal working, and protesting environment. 1.0.2 This standard is applicable to, new, rebuilt, extended and modified noise control system design (excluding impulsive sound). The noise control design of new rebuilt and extended works must be taken out with the main works simultaneously. 1.0.3 As for the noise generated by production run and equipment, the control shall be done in sound source firstly, process and equipment with low noise shall substitute ones with strong noise; otherwise, the noise control measures, such as sound insulation, sound deafening, sound absorption, vibration isolation and combination control, shall be adopted. 1.0.4 In the noise control design of industrial enterprise, the comprehensive analysis shall be taken out for production process, operating maintenance and noise reduction effect, effective innovation, new material and new method shall be adopted positively, to reduce cost, improve Efficiency and gain optimal economic benefit. 1.0.5 As for a few of production department and operational field, personal protective measures shall be adopted if the noise level cannot reach the noise control design standard after corresponding noise control measures are adopted. As for these production department and operational field, the noise control design shall be taken out according to the noise level of department (workshop) and the insertion loss of adopted personal protection device. 1.0.6 Beside the provisions of this code, the noise control design of industrial enterprises shall meet the provisions of other related current national standards.
