本标准规定了使用防护热板装置测定板状试件稳态热性质的方法和对装置的要求。本方法只适用于测定干燥试件，试件的热阻应大于0.1m2，K/W，试件的热阻可以低到0.02m2，K/W，但不能在全部范围内得到前述的准确度和重复性。本方法只适用于测定匀质材料，非匀质材料应按附录A（补充件）估测本方法的适用性。
