本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１１０４８—１９８９《纺织品保温性能的测定》。本标准规定了在稳态条件下热阻和湿阻的本标准与ＧＢ／Ｔ１１０４８—１９８９相比主要变化如下：
１．标准名称中不再使用术语“保温性能”一词，改用术语“热阻和湿阻”；
２．扩大了适用范围；
３．增加了湿阻测定的内容；
４．规定可以采用两种仪器：Ａ 型仪器———蒸发热板法，Ｂ型仪器———静态平板法；
５．恒温温度由３６℃改为３５℃；
６．试验环境空气由基本静止（风速小于０．１ｍ／ｓ）改为恒定气流１ｍ／ｓ；
７．以热阻和湿阻为主要指标，并增加透湿指数、透湿率、热导率指标，取消保温率指标；
８．取消以间歇式加热为基础的试验程序和计算公式，只给出定义性公式；
９．增加以标准样校准仪器的程序；
１０．取消原方法Ｂ———管式保温仪法；
１１．增加结果的重复性、再现性一章（见第８章）。
