1 Scope
This standard specifies the types and dimensions, requirements, labeling, marking, inspection, packaging, transportation and storage of gaskets for large-diameter steel pipe flanges.
This standard is applicable to NPS26~NPS60 and Class150~Class900 spiral wound gaskets and flexible graphite corrugated gaskets used for large-diameter steel pipe flanges, as well as Class150~Class300 nonmetallic flat gaskets and flexible graphite gaskets reinforced with tanged metal sheet.
