1 Scope
This standard specifies classification, product marks, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, package, transportation and storage of polymer waterproof material-hydrophilic expansion rubber.
This standard is applicable to the water absorbing materials such as water-soluble polyurethane performed polymer, sodium 2-propenoic acid water-absorbent resin and waterproof rubbers with hydrophilic expansion characteristics made of elastomer like natural rubber and polychloroprene. It is mainly used for the seaming and waterproof sealing of underground and foundation projects such as various tunnels, pipe-jacking, civil air defense works, etc. and the waterproof sealing of industrial equipments like boats and locomotives.
