GB/T 18262-2024 Wood based panel machinery - General specifications
1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements for the design, manufacturing, performance, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of wood based panel machinery (hereinafter referred to as the machinery), and describes the corresponding inspection methods.
This document is applicable to the machinery used for producing wood based panel products such as plywood, particleboard and fiberboard, as well as machinery for secondary processing of these products.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 18263 and LY/T 1382 apply.
4 Requirements
4.1 General requirements
4.1.1 Types, names and parameters
The types, names and parameters shall meet the requirements of GB/T 18003.
4.1.2 Design requirements
4.1.2.1 The overall layout shall be reasonable and compact, the dimensions of the work posts shall be designed according to the principles specified in GB/T 14776, and the layout shall be convenient for the operator to observe the working conditions of the machinery.
4.1.2.2 The structural design shall be economical and rational, and should give full consideration to serialization, generalization, standardization and modularization, as well as the design principles of safety, hygiene and energy conservation specified in GB 5083 and GB/T 40808.1.

4 Requirements
4.1 General requirements
4.1.1 Types, names and parameters
The types, names and parameters shall meet the requirements of GB/T 18003.
4.1.2 Design requirements
4.1.2.1 The overall layout shall be reasonable and compact, the dimensions of the work posts shall be designed according to the principles specified in GB/T 14776, and the layout shall be convenient for the operator to observe the working conditions of the machinery.
4.1.2.2 The structural design shall be economical and rational, and should give full consideration to serialization, generalization, standardization and modularization, as well as the design principles of safety, hygiene and energy conservation specified in GB 5083 and GB/T 40808.1.
