1 Scope This part specifies the main types, basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, inspection and test items as well as marking, packaging and transport requirements of asynchronous generator of grid-connected wind turbine generator systems (with speed-increasing gearbox). This part is applicable to grid-connected single-speed or double-speed asynchronous generator (with speed-increasing gearbox; hereinafter referred to as generator); for generators of other types, it may apply for reference. 2 Normative References The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard.
