GB/T 191-2025 Graphical symbols marking for handling and storage of packages
1 Scope
This document specifies the names, graphical symbols, dimensions and colors of graphical symbols markings (hereinafter referred to as markings) for package handling, storage and transport, and describes their application methods.
This document is applicable to the design and use of graphical symbols marking for handling and storage of packages. This document does not include specific instructions on the handling and storage of dangerous goods.

4 Marking names, graphical symbols and meanings
The marking consists of graphical symbols, names and outer frame lines, totaling 17 types.
a) The names, graphical symbols and meanings of commonly used markings for large-sized packages are shown in Table 1.
b) The names, graphical symbols and meanings of commonly used markings for middle and small-sized packages are as follows:
1) The names, graphical symbols and meanings of the general handling markings are shown in Table 2;
2) The names, graphical symbols and meanings of the manual handling markings are shown in Table 3;
3) The names, graphical symbols and meanings of the mechanical handling markings are shown in Table 4.
c) The names, graphical symbols and meanings of commonly used markings for package transport and storage are shown in Table 5.
d) The names, graphical symbols and meanings of commonly used markings for package storage are shown in Table 6.
Note: The corner marks around graphical symbols do not constitute the content of the graphical symbols; they are merely the basis for their reproduction and application.

1 Center of gravity
Reference: ISO 7000 (0627) Indicating the lifting center of gravity position of a package which will be handled as a single unit Requirements:
——Heavy packages shall be marked with the marking of “Center of gravity”;
——Where possible, the marking of “Center of gravity” shall be placed on all six sides at the center of gravity positions but at least on the two sides and two end faces of the package;
——The marking of “Center of gravity” shall be applied to in correct positions in order to convey the meaning clearly and fully.
Note: OTE 1 When heavy cargo tips over during the handling or hoisting, it could not only cause damage to the package, but also lead to injuries to on-site workers and even fatal safety accidents. Therefore, determining the center of gravity position of the package is of vital importance.

1 Scope
This document specifies the names, graphical symbols, dimensions and colors of graphical symbols markings (hereinafter referred to as markings) for package handling, storage and transport, and describes their application methods.

b) The names, graphical symbols and meanings of commonly used markings for middle and small-sized packages are as follows:

2) The names, graphical symbols and meanings of the manual handling markings are shown in Table 3;
