8.6和8.7规定了利用矿物固床代替腐熟堆肥作为富含嗜热菌的接种物(从堆肥通过特殊处理途径得到),来测定试验材料中碳转化成释放出的二氧化碳转化百分率的一种方法。
本标准所述的条件并不总是相当于出现最大生物分解时的最佳条件。
