ＧＢ／Ｔ２４２３ 《电工电子产品环境试验　第２部分：试验方法》按试验方法分为若干部分。
本部分为ＧＢ／Ｔ２４２３ 的第１５部分。本标准等同采用IEC 60068-2-7：1986，是对GB/T 2423.15-1995 的修订。标准用以确定件、设备和其他产品经受稳态加速环境所产生的力的作用下，结构的适应性和性能是否良好，以及评定一些件结构完好性。本部分代替ＧＢ／Ｔ２４２３．１５—１９９５ 《电工电子产品环境试验　第２部分：试验方法　试验Ｇａ和导则：稳态加速度》（ｉｄｔＩＥＣ６００６８２７：１９８６Ｅｄ２．１）。
本次修订是对ＧＢ／Ｔ２４２３—１９９５的编辑性修改，在技术内容上没有改动。修订后的章条安排和格式与其他部分保持一致。具体的编辑性修改是：
ａ）将原目的和一般说明两章合为第一章的两个独立的条款；
ｂ）将原ＩＥＣ 前言中对引用标准的介绍编入第２章规范性引用文件中。
