GB/T 24345-2025 Corn dyed yarns
1 Scope
This document specifies the product classification and labeling, technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, transport, and corresponding test methods for corn dyed yarns.
This document is applicable to yarns made from staple fibers and processed using the corn dyeing technique.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 3291.1 and the following apply.
3.1

4 Product classification and labeling
4.1 In corn dyed yarns, K shall be used as the code for yarns intended for knitting, and W shall be used as the code for yarns intended for weaving.
4.2 When corn dyed yarns are labeled with codes, the product color, color card number, and the codes for manufacturing technique and fiber composition shall be indicated in front of the line density, while the code for knitting or weaving yarns shall be indicated right after the line density.
Example 1: A red (or corresponding color card number) combed polyester/cotton blended corn dyed yarn with a linear density of 14.8 tex, composed of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, and intended for knitting, shall be labeled as: Red (or corresponding color card number) JT/C 65/35 14.8 tex K.
Note 1: JT/C is the code for combed polyester/cotton blended yarn.
Example 2: A black (or corresponding color card number) corn dyed yarn with a linear density of 14.8 tex, made of carded cotton and intended for weaving, shall be labeled as: Black (or corresponding color card number) C 14.8 tex W.
Note 2: C is the code for carded cotton.

4 Product classification and labeling
