1 Scope This Part of GB/T 25338 specifies the terms, classification, technical requirements, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the electric, electrohydraulic and electropneumatic switch machines (hereinafter referred to as "switch machine") used in railway. This Part is applicable to the design, production and maintenance of the switch machine as well as the switch locking device driven by the switch machine. 2 Normative References The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this Part of GB/T 25338, constitute provisions of this Part. For dated references, subsequent amendments to (excluding corrections to), or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply.
