1 Scope
This Standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage for pressure vessels lined with fluoroplastics.
This Standard is applicable to pressure vessels, such as tower, kettle, container, slot and tank, which are larger than or equal to 0.1MPa and less than or equal to 2.5MPa in design pressures, taking the steel pressure vessels as the shells and lined with fluoroplastics, including polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), fluorinated ethylene-propylene (FEP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), ethylene-tetrafluoroethene copolymer (ETEE) and meltable polytetrafluoroethylene (PFA).
