1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, size designations, basic parameters, main dimensions and measuring methods of electric bicycle tyres.
This document is applicable to the pneumatic tyres for electric bicycle.
This document is not applicable to non-pneumatic tyres.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 6326 and the following apply.

croctchet type tyre
tyre with bead core made by steel wire or other high-strength materials, and the shape of bead matching with croctchet type (CT) rim
4 Classification
4.1 Bead structure
Electric bicycle tyres are divided into three categories according to the structure in which the bead and rim fit each other: croctchet type (CT) tyre (see Figure 1 a), straight side (SS) tyres (see Figure 1 b), hooked bead (HB) tyres (see Figure 1 c), and tubeless (TL) tyres (see Figure 1 d).
