GB/T 228.1 Metallic materials - Tensile testing - Part 1: Method of test at room temperature GB/T 3075 Metallic materials - Fatigue testing - Axial-force-controlled method GB/T 3634.2 Hydrogen - Part 2: Pure hydrogen, high pure hydrogen and ultra-pure hydrogen GB/T 6398 Metallic materials - Fatigue testing - Fatigue crack growth method GB/T 10623 Metallic material - Mechanical testing - Vocabulary GB/T 15248 The test method for axial loading constant-amplitude low-cycle fatigue of metallic materials GB/T 21143 Metallic materials - Unified method of test for determination of quasistatic fracture toughness GB/T 26077 Metallic materials - Fatigue testing - Axial-strain-controlled method GB/T 29729 Essential requirements for the safety of hydrogen systems GB/T 34542.1 Storage and transportation systems for gaseous hydrogen - Part 1: General requirements   3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 10623 and the following apply. 3.1 test chamber sealed container containing high-pressure gas for testing mechanical properties of metal materials 3.2 internal measuring equipment device installed inside the test chamber to measure the axial force or deformation of a specimen 3.3 external measuring equipment device installed outside the test chamber to measure the axial force of the loading bar or the displacement of the cross beam 3.4 environment reference test material performance test conducted in atmospheric, nitrogen or inert gas environments to comparatively evaluate the degree of deterioration of material properties caused by hydrogen gas 4 Symbols For the purposes of this document, the following symbols apply. p Test pressure, MPa T Test temperature, ℃ R Force ratio, which is the ratio of the minimum force to maximum force; da/dN Fatigue crack growth rate, m/cycle; △K Stress-intensity factor range, MPa·m1/2. 5 Test equipment 5.1 General requirements 5.1.1 See Annex A for the main body of the test equipment for evaluating metallic material compatibility in high-pressure hydrogen atmosphere, which is mainly composed of test chamber, supporting equipment, measuring equipment and loading bar. 5.1.2 The test equipment shall meet the relevant safety requirements of GB/T 29729 and GB/T 34542.1. 5.1.3 The materials of test equipment shall meet the requirements of corresponding national or professional standards, and materials in direct contact with gaseous hydrogen shall have good compatibility with gaseous hydrogen. 5.1.4 The temperature and pressure control system of the test equipment shall be able to meet the relevant test requirements. 5.1.5 The gas discharge system of the test equipment shall be provided with a flow control device. 5.1.6 If the test equipment is not in use, the test chamber should be filled with 0.1 MPa high-purity nitrogen or inert gas for protection. 5.1.7 If the test equipment is not in use for more than 15 consecutive days, the test shall be carried out only after the equipment has passed the leak test. 5.2 Test chamber 5.2.1 The material, design, manufacture, use management and periodic inspection of the test chamber shall refer to the relevant requirements of TSG 21. 5.2.2 The influence of fatigue load and gaseous hydrogen on material properties shall be considered in the design of test chamber. 5.2.3 The number of pressure cycles designed for the test chamber shall not be less than the number of pressure cycles within the expected service life. 5.2.4 Appropriate devices should be adopted to balance the axial force exerted by gas pressure on the loading bar.
