本标准规定了农业中使用的全生物降解地面覆盖薄膜的要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存等。
本标准适用于以具有完全生物降解特性的脂肪族聚酯、脂肪族-芳香族共聚酯、二氧化碳-环氧化合物共聚物以及其他可生物降解聚合物中的一种或者多种树脂为主要成分，允许在配方中加入适当比例的淀粉、纤维素等可生物降解的天然高分子材料以及其他无环境危害的无机填充物、功能性助剂，通过采用吹塑或流延等工艺生产的农业用地面覆盖薄膜。
