本标准适用的待测水样中各离子的检测下限是：Cu2+的含量不小于1.00×10-7 moloL-1，Mn2+的含量不小于1.00×10-6 moloL-1， Cr(VI)的含量不小于4.00×10-7 moloL-1。
本标准适用的待测水样的pH范围是：含有Cu2+的水溶液pH范围是2～6，含有Mn2+的水溶液pH范围是3～7，含有Cr(VI)的水溶液pH范围是1～6。
