General technical requirements for electrochemical energy storage system in power system 1 Scope This document specifies the technical requirements for the environmental conditions for operating and storage, power control, operational adaptability, energy conversion efficiency, fault crossing, primary frequency regulation, inertia response, black start, and power quality of the electrochemical energy storage system in power system, as well as the technical requirements for energy storage equipment such as lithium-ion batteries, flow batteries, lead-acid/lead carbon batteries, water electrolysis hydrogen/fuel cells, battery management systems, power conversion systems, monitoring systems, protection, metering, and auxiliary systems.
