GB/T 7928-2025 General technical specification for metro vehicles
1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for service conditions, vehicle types, general requirements, vehicle configurations and train formation, carbody and interior equipment, bogies, braking system, electrical system, air conditioning and ventilation system, train control and management system, communication and passenger information system, electromagnetic compatibility, safety facilities, interfaces with other disciplines, test and acceptance, marking, transportation and warranty period of metro vehicles.
This document is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of metro vehicles with a maximum operating speed not exceeding 120 km/h.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
metro vehicle
single vehicle that may be formed into a train for operation on metro lines
3.2
metro train
assembly of several metro vehicles formed into a train and capable of carrying passengers while operating
3.3
train communication network
data communication network connecting the on-board programmable electronic equipment of each vehicle within a train
3.4
train control and management system; TCMS
control system that realizes the functions of train communication management, logic control, fault diagnosis, safety protection, data processing, status display, data recording, etc.
4 Service conditions
4.1 Environmental conditions
Metro trains (hereinafter referred to as "trains") shall operate normally under the following environmental conditions:
a) The altitude for normal operation shall not be more than 1 400m;
b) The ambient temperature shall be -25°C to 45°C;
c) The monthly average relative humidity of the wettest month shall not be more than 90% (with the monthly average minimum temperature of that month being 25°C);
d) Vehicles shall withstand the invasion of wind, sand, rain and snow, as well as the effect of cleaning agents during vehicle washing.
4.2 Line conditions
Trains shall operate normally under the following line conditions:
a) The gauge shall be 1 435 mm;
b) The minimum horizontal curve radius shall comply with the provisions of GB 50157;
c) The minimum vertical curve radius shall be 2 000m;
