This standard specifies product classification, technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packing, transport and storage of silicon carbide rings of mechanical sealing.
This standard is applicable to silicon carbide reaction-sintered, silicon carbide pressure less-sintered (solid phase, liquid phase and adding carbon) and hot pressed sintering silicon carbide sealing rings (hereinafter referred to as sealing ring).
