1 Scope
This standard specifies the corona-proof specification, test methods and inspection rules for the high voltage rotating AC machines used in high altitude area.
This standard is applicable to the AC machines whose operating altitude and rated voltage are from 1000m to 5000m and 6 kV or more respectively and whose winding and iron core is connected with ambient atmosphere.
Other corona-proof AC machines may refer to this standard.
