1 General Provisions 1.0.1 In order to adapt to urban construction and development, this code is formulated to ensure the design of garage meets the basic requirements of application, safety and sanitation. 1.0.2 This code is applicable to the design of newly-built, extended and rebuilt garage. 1.0.3 The design of garage shall achieve convenient use, advanced technology, safety and reliability as well as economy and rationality; and it shall comply with the requirements of urban traffic modernization management and urban environment protection. 1.0.4 The size of garage should be divided into four classes according to the types and capacity of automobiles; and it shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 1.0.4.
