1 Scope This standard specifies the performance and functional characteristics of the electrical supply systems required for the instrumentation and control (I&C) systems important to safety in nuclear power plants (hereinafter referred to as I&C supply systems). Guidance is also given on the possible use of these electrical supply systems for other I&C systems. This standard is applicable to the design of supply systems required for I&C supply systems important to safety in nuclear power plants.
