1 Scope
This guideline specifies the principle and technical requirements to be followed for interconnecting the energy storage system, storing electric energy in an electrochemical or electromagnetic form, to distribution network. For energy storage elements interconnected to the power grid through the same converter as distributed generation, those specified in Q/GDW 480 Technical guideline for distributed generation interconnecting to power grid shall be followed .
This guideline is applicable to the energy storage system that is interconnected, in the operation regions of the State Grid Corporation of China, to distribution network with voltage of 35kV or below.
