1 Scope This part specifies the basic requirements of classification and naming, service environment, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and transportation of long rod composite insulators (hereinafter referred to as long rod suspension insulators and long rod post insulators respectively) for overhead contact system of power frequency single-phase AC 25kV electrified railways.
