1 Scope This standard specifies definition, principle, equipment, test piece, test procedure, test result treatment and report for test method for thermal shock resistance of castable refractory. This standard is applicable to castable refractory, such as alkaline castable refractory, siliceous castable refractory and castable refractory interacts with water or with a few water quenching thermal shocks that it is hard to judge its thermal shock resistance. YB/T 2206.2 (water quenching) is not applicable to this kind of material. This standard is also applicable to castable refractory, which is the same as 2206.2 (water quenching); however, the measured thermal shock time is different.
