1 Scope
This national standard specifies classification and code of dangerous goods.
This standard is applicable to transportation, storage, production, operation, use and disposal of dangerous goods.
2 Normative references
The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this national standard. For dated reference, subsequent amendments (excluding amending error in the text) to, or revisions of, any of these publications do not apply. However, the parties whose enter into agreement according to these specifications are encouraged to research whether the latest editions of these references are applied or not.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this national standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Dangerous goods
The substances and articles that has such dangerous characteristics as explosion, poison, infection, corrosion and radioactive, in the process of transportation, storage, production, operation use and disposal are likely to cause personal injury, property damage or environmental pollution and need to be protected particularly.
3.2
Explosive substances
Solid or liquid substances (or the mixture of these substances) that can produce gases through chemical reaction by themselves, the temperature, pressure and speed are sufficiently high to cause damage around, including pyrotechnic substances that don't produce gases.
3.3
Pyrotechnic substances
One kind of substance or the mixture of these substances that can make heat, light, sound, gases, these effects are produced by non-detonation self-maintaining exothermic chemical reaction.

Explosive articles
The articles that include one or some kinds of explosive substances

Mass detonation or explosion of total contents
The explosion that can affect nearly the whole load in seconds
3.6
Self-reactive substances
Thermally unstable substances that intensely exothermic decomposition can easily happen even without oxygen (air)
