3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Vehicle travelling data recorder
It refers to the digital electronic recording device which records and stores vehicle travelling speed, time, mileage, location and other status information relevant to vehicle traveling, as well as realizes data output through communication.
3.2
Impulse ratio
It refers to the number of impulse signal generated by the vehicle speed sensor within 1km for which the vehicle travels.
3.3
Start time of travelling
It refers to the time that the vehicle changes from the static status to the travelling status (with the speed greater than 0km/h for over 10s).
3.4
End time of travelling
It refers to the time that the vehicle changes from the travelling status to the static status (with the speed equal to 0km/h for over 10s).
3.5
Continuous driving time
It refers to the time that the same driver drives between two adjacent time intervals during which the parking time is not less than 20min.
Note: The parking time less than 20min shall be counted into the continuous driving time.
3.6
Start time of continuous driving
It refers to the first start time of travelling after the parking time interval not less than 20min.
3.7
End time of continuous driving
It refers to the last end time of travelling before the parking time interval not less than 20min after the start time of continuous driving which is conducted y the same driver.
3.8
Overtime driving
It refers to that the continuous driving time exceeds 4h.
3.9
Calendar day
It refers to the time interval from 00: 00 to 24: 00 counted in Beijing time, lasting for 24h.
3.10
Current two calendar days
The calendar day for the recent end time of vehicle travelling and its previous calendar day.
3.1 1
Positioning module
It refers to the functional module used to determine the vehicle location automatically through merging output information of different sensors.
3.12
Positioning accuracy
It refers to the deviation (2D RMS measurement) between the geographic position determined by the positioning module and the actual position.
3.13
Positional information
It refers to the information relevant to the longitude, latitude and altitude of the geographic position where the positioning module is located.
4 Requirements
4.1 General Requirements
4.1.1 Composition
The vehicle travelling data recorder (hereinafter referred to as "the recorder") mainly consists of:
