本规范规定了船厂水工钢板桩的设计规程和施工技术要求、监测技术要求；汇总了国内外钢板桩的产品标准和技术规格。
本规范适用于修造船厂中船坞、船台、码头、护岸等构筑物的钢板桩，以及用于临时支护或围堰的钢板桩、防渗止水帷幕钢板桩等结构的设计与施工。水运、水利行业类似构筑物中钢板桩工程也可参照执行。
