1 General Provisions 1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to implementing the economic policy of resources saving and environment protection, pushing forward the sustainable development of economic society and normalizing the construction and assessment of green buildings in Fujian. 1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the assessment of one and two-star green buildings; three-star green building shall be in compliance with the national standard "Evaluation standard for green building" (GB/T50378). 1.0.3 For the assessment of green building, it shall be taken into consideration that energy, land, water and material saving and environment protection shall be achieved in the whole life cycle under the premise that the requirements on construction safety, sanitation, structure and application functions are satisfied. 1.0.4 The assessment of green building shall be carried out in accordance with local characteristics, such as the climate, resource, natural environment, economy, culture and custom in Fujian province. Moreover, technology innovation is encouraged in assessment. 1.0.5 Apart from this standard, the assessment of green building shall also comply with other relevant national and Fujian laws, regulations and standards to reach the unified development of economy, society and environment.
