1 Scope
This standard is applicable to the food labeling of prepackaged foods for special dietary supplies.
2 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions determined in GB 7718-2011 "General Standard for the Labeling of Prepackaged Foods" and GB 28050-2011 "General Standard for the Nutrition Labeling of Prepackaged Food" are applicable to this standard.
2.1 Prepackaged foods for special dietary supplies
The foods specially processed or formulated to meet the specific food demand under special physical or physiologic conditions and (or) disease and disorder. The content of the nutrient and (or) other nutrients in such foods is significantly different from that in comparable ordinary foods.
