本标准规定了我国各类鼠疫疫源地主要宿主、媒介、病原体及血清学各项监测标准，监测的质量控制及其技术方法。本标准适用于喜马拉雅旱挞灰旱挞长尾旱挞蒙古旱獭，达乌尔黄鼠、阿拉善黄鼠、长尾黄鼠，长爪沙鼠，布氏田鼠，大绒鼠及家鼠（黄胸鼠）鼠疫疫源地的监测。监测以县(市、旗)为单位。
