This document is applicable to electrical accessories with a rated operating voltage not exceeding 1500 VDC and a rated current not exceeding 1000 ADC. These accessories are intended to be installed and used by instructed persons (GB/T 2900.73-2008, definition 195-04-02) or skilled persons (GB/T 2900.73-2008, definition 195-04-01). Unless otherwise specified, this document applies to electrical accessories for use in an ambient temperature between -25°C and +55°C and in normal use in pollution degree 3 environments as specified in GB/T 16935.1-2023. These electrical accessories are intended to be connected only to copper or copper-alloy cables. Socket-outlets or ship inlets, incorporated in or fixed to electrical equipment as part of the shore connection system, are within the scope of this document.
