本标准规定了测定橡胶中异丁烯�异戊二烯橡胶或聚异丁烯含量的方法。�本标准适用于含下列R类橡胶、乙烯�丙烯�二烯烃三元共聚物（EPDM）的橡胶或橡胶制品中异丁烯�异戊二烯橡胶（简称“丁基橡胶”）或聚异丁烯含量的测定。R类橡胶包括：丁二烯橡胶（BR）、氯丁二烯橡胶（CR）、聚异戊二烯橡胶（IR）、天然橡胶（NR）、丙烯腈�丁二烯橡胶（NBR）和苯乙烯�丁二烯橡胶（SBR）。含其他聚合物的产品包括氯化丁基橡胶（CIIR）和溴化丁基橡胶（BIIR），做已知组成的对照试验后可参照使用。�本标准不适用于同时含有丁基橡胶和聚异丁烯复合橡胶中单一组分含量的测定。
