本标准适用于公路运输、水路运输有关运输设备进场/出场报告的电子数据交换，可用于运输设备（例如集装箱、托盘、车底盘、铁路整车、铁路零担等，重或空）的前程运输和接续运输，确认所制定的运输设备已由内陆承运人提取或接受，也适用于运输设备在码头、仓库内部移动的报告。铁路运输和航空运输也可以参照应用。
