本部分为首次发布。ＧＢ／Ｔ２１５６０《低压直流电源》分为7个部分，本部分为ＧＢ／Ｔ２１５６０的第６部分。本部分适用于一般用途电源。这些电源进行交流到直流或直流到直流的变换。输入特性，本部分适用于额定值660V及以下的所有交流或直流电源。输出特性，本部分仅适用于直流电压低于250V，且功率2.5kW及以下的电源。本部分与ＩＥＣ６１２０４０-６：２０００相比，存在如下技术性差异：根据我国标准，本部分第１章将输入电源电压范围上限从ＩＥＣ６１２０４-６规定的不超过６００Ｖ改为不超过６６０Ｖ，输出电压范围上限则从ＩＥＣ６１２０４-６规定的不超过２００Ｖ改为不超过２５０Ｖ。
