GB/T 29632-2021 Range of main parts and the guarantees certificate in repair, replacement and return warranty of household automobile 1 Scope This document specifies the ranges of main parts of major assemblies and systems and wearable parts, as well as the guarantees certificate in repair, replacement and return warranty of household automobiles (hereinafter referred to as "automobiles"). This document is applicable to the activities related to the fulfillment of the repair, replacement and return warranty responsibilities for automobiles by manufacturers, sellers, and repairers of automobiles. 2 Normative references There are no normative references in this document. 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1 repair, replacement and return warranty of automobile activities and responsibilities of automobile manufacturers, sellers, and repairers regarding the repair, replacement, and return of automobiles due to quality issues within the warranty period Note: The warranty period includes the repair warranty period, the validity period for repair, replacement and return warranty of automobile, and the warranty period for wearable parts. 3.2 assembly component of an automobile that is assembled from a number of parts, subassemblies or accessories and has an independent function Note: Assemblies mainly include the engine, transmission, traction battery, drive motor, etc. 3.3 system interrelated collection or device constructed to achieve a specified function and thus a given objective Note: Systems mainly include the steering system, braking system, suspension system, transmission system, pollution control device, vehicle body, etc. 4 Ranges of main parts of major assemblies and systems 4.1 Ranges of main parts of engine, transmission, traction battery, and drive motor assemblies If the automobile is equipped with the assemblies and main parts listed in Table 1, such information shall be clearly indicated by the manufacturer on the guarantees certificate in repair, replacement and return warranty of automobile (see Table A.2 in Annex A); if the automobile is not equipped with the assemblies and main parts listed in Table 1, such information need not be indicated on the guarantees certificate in repair, replacement and return warranty of automobile. For example, a battery electric vehicle is not equipped with an engine, so it is not necessary to indicate the engine and its ranges of main parts listed in Table 1.
