GB 190 Packing symbol for dangerous goods GB/T 191 Packaging – Pictorial marking for handling and storage of goods GB/T 394.2 General methods of analysis for ethanol JJF 1070 Rules of Metrological Testing for Net Quantity of Prepackaged Products with Constant Content 3 Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 non-edible fermented ethanol for industrial use Hydrous ethanol produced by fermentation and distillation of starchy, sugary, or cellulosic materials, intended for industrial use (excluding industries with special requirements such as the food industry). 4 Technical Requirements 4.1 Sensory Requirements Shall comply with the provisions in Table 1. 4.2 Physicochemical Requirements Shall comply with the provisions in Table 2. 4.3 Net Content Shall comply with the provisions of the "Administrative Regulations on Metrological Supervision of Prepackaged Products with Constant Content". 5 Test Methods 5.1 Sensory Requirements Conduct according to the methods described in GB/T 394.2. 5.2 Physicochemical Requirements Conduct according to the methods described in GB/T 394.2. 5.3 Net Content Conduct according to the provisions of JJF 1070. 6 Inspection Rules 6.1 Batch Composition 6.1.1 Products produced per shift or per day, of the same category, same quality, and same specification, constitute a batch. 6.1.2 For products packaged in tanks or tank trucks, each tank or tank truck load constitutes a batch. 6.2 Sampling 6.2.1 Sampling methods are as follows: a) For products packaged in tanks or tank trucks, each tank or tank truck is a sample unit, from which one sample is taken. b) For products packaged in drums or bottles, samples are taken according to Table 3. 6.2.2 Samples shall be taken from the upper, middle, and lower parts of the tank. For vertical tanks, sample in the volume ratio of 2:3:2; for horizontal tanks, sample in the volume ratio of 1:3:1. Samples from tank trucks and drums shall be taken from the middle part. 6.2.3 Take 2 L of sample from each batch, mix well, and place into two brown narrow-mouth reagent bottles. Immediately affix labels indicating: sample name, batch number (tank, tank truck, or drum number), grade, sampling time and location, and sampler's name. Use one bottle for testing and retain the other for two months for future reference. 6.3 Inspection Classification 6.3.1 Factory Inspection 6.3.1.1 Before leaving the factory, products shall be batch-inspected by the manufacturer's inspection department according to this document. Products shall only leave the factory if the inspection results comply with this document. 6.3.1.2 Inspection items include sensory requirements, chromaticity, ethanol content, sulfuric acid test color, oxidation time, aldehydes, isobutanol + isoamyl alcohol, methanol, and net content. 6.3.2 Type Inspection 6.3.2.1 Inspection items include all items required in this document. 6.3.2.2 Under normal circumstances, type inspection for the same category of products shall be conducted once every six months. Type inspection shall also be conducted under any of the following circumstances: a) When there is a significant change in raw or auxiliary materials; b) When key processes or equipment are altered; c) When newly trial-produced products or normal production products resume production after a shutdown of more than three months; d) When there is a significant discrepancy between factory inspection results and the previous type inspection results; e) When national regulatory authorities require sampling inspection according to relevant regulations. 6.4 Judgment Rules 6.4.1 If one or more indicators in the inspection results do not meet the requirements of this document, a re-inspection shall be conducted by taking twice the amount of sample from the same batch. The re-inspection results shall be final.
