1 Scope
This document defines the terms related to commercial patient companion services, specifies the requirements for service providers, service supplies, service platforms, service personnel, service contents, and service evaluation and improvement, and establishes the service process.
This document is applicable to the management of commercial patient companion service organizations.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
commercial patient companion service
supportive medical service provided by the patient companion “service provider” (3.2) for the “patient” (3.3)
3.2
service provider
organization that obtains revenue by providing “commercial patient companion service” (3.1)
3.3
patient
individual who experiences inconvenience in seeking medical care due to mobility, cognitive, or geographical differences, or who seeks a better medical experience
3.4
customer
organization or individual that purchases “commercial patient companion service” (3.1)
3.5
patient companion
personnel who directly provide “commercial patient companion service” (3.1) to the “patient” (3.3)
3.6
operational support specialist
personnel who provide support to the “patient” (3.3), the “customer” (3.4), and the “patient companion” (3.5)
Example: Order administrators, customer service personnel, and technical support personnel.
4 Service provider
4.1 Basic requirements
The service provider shall be registered with the industry and commerce authorities in accordance with the law, be equipped with service personnel, service supplies, and a service platform that match the services provided, establish a service management system, and accept public supervision.
4.2 Service management
4.2.1 Human resource management
4.2.1.1 The full-time and part-time service personnel provided by the service provider shall meet the requirements specified in Clause 7.
4.2.1.2 The service provider shall organize pre-job training for service personnel and regularly provide specialized on-the-job training.
Note: The training content shall include compliance training, professional competence training, safety and emergency training, mental health training, humanistic quality training, etc.
4.2.1.3 The service provider shall periodically verify the health certificates of the patient companions (hereinafter referred to as "companions").
