1 Scope
This part specifies the basis, steps, contents, methods and requirements for analyzing development flight test results of submarine-to-ground nuclear strategic missiles (hereinafter referred to as “missiles”), as well evaluating flight test results.
This part is applicable to the analysis and evaluation of missile development flight test results.
2 Purpose and principle of result analysis and evaluation
2.1 Purpose of result analysis and evaluation
2.1.1 Land-based launch flight test
The main purposes of analysis and evaluation of land-based launch flight test results are as follows:
a) Make a preliminary conclusion on the rationality and correctness of the overall design scheme of missile;
b) Make a preliminary conclusion on the rationality and correctness of the design scheme of each missile system;
c) Make a preliminary conclusion on the compatibility and coordination between missile systems and between each missile system and ground equipment;
d) Make a preliminary conclusion on the correctness of missile design parameters;
e) Make a preliminary conclusion on the adaptability of each missile system to the flight environment;
f) Make a preliminary conclusion on the main tactical and technical performance of missile, such as range and accuracy;
g) Make proposals for improving missile design scheme.
2.1.2 Submarine-based launch flight test
The main purposes of analysis and evaluation of submarine-based launch flight test results are as follows:
a) Make a preliminary conclusion on the rationality and correctness of the overall design scheme of missile;
