本标准规定了化工用复合材料管道及管件的术语及定义、原材料、技术要求、检验方法、检验规则、产品标志及运输。
本标准适用于以玻璃纤维为增强材料，以不饱和聚酯树脂或乙烯基酯树脂为基体，低压接触成型或纤维缠绕成型的玻璃钢管道和管件。压力等级不大于2.5MPa，设计温度不大于150℃（当设计温度超过110℃时，应适当提高设计安全系数，安全系数可由供需双方商定）。
本标准不适用于以环氧树脂、酚醛树脂或呋喃树脂制作的玻璃钢管道及管件，亦不适用于采用离心浇注成型、模塑成型或拉挤成型的玻璃钢管道及管件。
