本标准适用于土壤和沉积物中直链全氟辛基磺酸及其盐类（perfluorooctanesulfonic acid and perfluorooctanesulfonate，PFOS）、直链全氟辛酸及其盐类（perfluorooctanoic acid and perfluorooctanoate，
PFOA）的测定。
取样量为 2 g，试样定容体积为 1.0 ml，进样体积为 5.0 μl 时，PFOS（以对应酸的浓度计）的方法检出限为 0.4 μg/kg，测定下限为 1.6 μg/kg；PFOA（以对应酸的浓度计）的方法检出限为 0.5 μg/kg，测定下限为 2.0 μg/kg。
