本标准规定了外转子永磁无刷直流电动机的型式、基本参数与尺寸、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则以及包装、运输和贮存的要求。本标准适用于风机及类似用途的电动机，其它类型的外转子永磁无刷直流电动机可参照使用。本标准所称的电动机包括电动机本体及其控制器，有些控制器是内装式的。
