1 General Provisions
1.0.1 With a view to unifying mix proportion design of cement soil and its performance test methods and guaranteeing the quality, this specification is developed.
1.0.2 This specification is applicable to the mix proportion design of cement soil using cement as curing agent to reinforce soil mass and its performance test.
1.0.3 In addition to this specification, the mix proportion design of cement soil and its performance test method shall also comply with those specified in the current relevant standards of the nation.

2.1.1 cement soil
the material composed of cement and soil as well as other components at appropriate proportion and made by mixing and hardening
2.1.2 cement mixing ratio
the wet mass ratio of mixed cement mass to reinforced soil, which is expressed in percentage
2.1.3 ratio of water to cement
the mass ratio of water to cement in the cement slurry for reinforcing soil mass
2.1.4 unconfined compressive strength
the maximum value of cube cement soil specimen in resisting axial stress under unconfined compression
2.1.5 mix proportion design of cement soil
the process of determining the material mass of cement soil by calculating the material consumption according to the raw material performance and defined cement mixing ratio and conducting trial mixing and adjustment in the laboratory
